My daughter attended one to one and group lessons at Lotworld for over a year in preparation of 11+. Team thinking games
IN ADDITION TO TRADITIONAL TEACHING STYLES, WE INCORPORATE ACTIVITIES TO MAKE LEARNING FUN AND YOUR CHILD WILL LEARN THROUGH A THEMED BASED GAMES SUCH AS:
Scavenger Hunt
Set up a scavenger themed hunt and student will take it in turns to suggest clues or events that lead to the next action building tension and incorporating power words and literary devices that leads to the conclusion . You can make it a themed hunt, like a pirate treasure hunt or a nature scavenger hunt.
Word Association
One student says a word / Essay Title and the next person has to say a word that is associated with the first word. For example, if someone says “dog,” the next person might say “bone” or”leash.”
Memory Game
Give students a short passage and give them a few minutes to study them. Then cover the passage and see how many details of the passage they can remember.
Hangman
Pick a word and have others try to guess it by guessing letters one at a time. Each incorrect guess results in a part of a stick figure being drawn, and the game ends when the stick figure is complete.
Categories
Pick a category, like types of animals or colors, and student take turns naming items that fit in that category.
I Spy
One person says “I spy with my little eye something that is…” and describes something they can see/ smell / hear / feel . The others try to guess what it is.
20 Questions

Lotworld Education Tutoring sessions are online group sessions between a tutor and a group of students, with the goal of improving the students’ understanding and performance in a particular subject or skill.

Lotworld Tutors specialize in teaching elementary school. They focus on teaching different aspects of the English language, such as grammar, vocabulary and literary devices.
Elementary English Programme is a two year Online Tutoring Programme .
- Available on MONDAYS – FRIDAYS 4PM – 7PM EST & Saturdays 8am – 2pm EST
Assessment:
Students will be assessed and put into groups with different pace depending on their objectives as some students are preparing for Exams for middle school and have limited deadline
PROGRAMME LEVELS:
Foundation Class
Most students start by being in the Foundation class which is our 16-week orientation period: During foundation, they will focus on basic concepts, introducing success routine, individualized timetable, creative writing plan, different types of story opening, basic literary devices, spelling techniques, updating power words, comprehension rules, punctuation rules, basic grammar concepts and homework plan. During this time students will focus on building Lotworld culture of honing on your strength and your voice and communication with their peers.
Consolidation CLASS
After completing Foundation, classes continue in our 24 weeks consolidation class to dive deeper into subjects and curriculum based on students gaps by exploring topics and using real-world concepts and themes to gain clarity and better understanding. Topics are introduced, students are instructed on the rules and given weekly homework to apply and consolidate the topics taught. Students progress are assessed every 6 weeks in an examination format.
- QUALIFYING CLASS
This is the final year when students start putting all concepts together. At this level, 70 percent of the curriculum has been taught and students are now presented weekly with full practise papers that will enable them to show off their skills while incorporating the rest of the curriculum.
Lotworld Tutors specialize in teaching elementary school. They focus on teaching different aspects of the English language, such as grammar, vocabulary and literary devices
Our Elementary integrated curriculum blends reading, writing , public speaking, critical and creative thinking skills as well as academic success skills are paced into 3 levels; 1st year is Foundation class, 16 weeks for new students, followed by consolidation class: 24 weeks ; and the 2nd year is the qualifying class: 40 weeks –CLICK TO go to curriculum page.

- Eunike is highly knowledgeable on the techniques required to ensure your child’s success. a vast believer in developing the whole child and incorporates social skills and executive function skills development into the programme as required.
