My name is Eunike Phillips and I am a mum of 3 young adults. I have been working as a private tutor for 13 years, with a 90 percent success rate of getting students into top independent and grammar schools
My educational background is in Law and Information Management. However, I got into tutoring after my son was absent from school for three months in year 5 due to an accident, I successfully prepared him for his 11+ Exams into middle school, this resulted in outstanding success and offers from several top schools and subsequent admission to a top independent school called ‘Haberdashers Aske’s School for Boys’ in Elstree, United kingdom.
I specialize in teaching 8 – 10 YEARS OLD English Creative Writing and Comprehension with a particular focus on bridging knowledge gaps
I am highly knowledgeable on the techniques required to ensure your child’s success. I am a vast believer in developing the whole child and I incorporate social skills and Executive Function skills development into our programme.
Having tutored several students with a variety of capabilities, strengths and weaknesses for over a decade, I understand how to motivate and support a struggling child to achieve his/her greatest potential. I am very passionate about teaching and seeing the transformation of my student; from a carefree child to a cheerful, confident and competent child.
